How to donate food:

If you would like to donate fresh or non-perishable dry or canned food, please contact the pantry's Executive Director: Evelyn (Evie) Ramunno at 631-725-0437. Evie can also be reached at her email address: bigracefans@gmail.com

We are grateful for donations of dry and canned goods, but request that you please make sure that the Best By and/or Use By dates on items have not expired.

Food Items Needed Year-Round

  • Cooking Oil

  • Four and Corn Meal

  • Sugar and Salt

  • Long Life and Carnation Milk

  • Cereal

  • Rice, Barley, Lentils, Quinoa

  • Beans - red, black, or white, canned and dry

  • Pasta and Pasta Sauce, Mac and Cheese

  • Tuna or other Canned Fish

  • Applesauce and Peanut Butter

  • Jams and Jellies

  • Tea and Coffee

  • Fruit Juice and Canned Fruit

Personal and Household Items Needed Year-Round

  • Toilet Tissue, Facial Tissues

  • Soap and Deodorant

  • Toothpaste, Brushes, Dental Floss

  • Razors and Shaving Lotion

  • Shampoo and Conditioner

  • Dish and Laundry Detergents

For Major Holidays

We distribute food on the Tuesday prior to the day of celebration.

  • Whole Turkeys

  • Whole Chickens

  • Cake, Cookie, or Bread Mixes

Please Note: Our storage space in freezers and fridges is very limited. We therefore request that you bring in donations of fresh or frozen items as close to the holiday as possible.

We are at the pantry to receive items only on Monday and Tuesday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. We will arrange to meet at another time if you wish to donate chickens or turkeys. Please call ahead, 631-725-0437 (Evie Ramunno).
