Annual Holiday Toy Drive
Drop off toys beginning on November 27, 2026
at the Lions Club Tree Sale and Sag Harbor Cinema
Each holiday season, the Sag Harbor Lions Club and the Sag Harbor Food Pantry join together to collect and distribute toys to families in Sag Harbor. The Lions Club accepts your donation at the Windmill on Long Wharf during their Christmas tree sale.*
NEW in 2026: Toys may also be dropped off in the lobby of Sag Harbor Cinema.
Please bring new and unwrapped toys and games to the Windmill between November 27 and December 13, 2026. The Pantry will sort and distribute donated toys to many happy Sag Harbor families – just in time for holiday giving!

Polar Bear Plunge
Start the New Year with a splash at the Polar Bear Plunge on January 1, 2027.
This annual fundraising event for the Pantry brings enthusiastic plungers and supporters to Wainscott Beach on Beach Lane in Wainscott. Colin Mather of the Seafood Shop in Wainscott has organized this event for more than 27 years. Through his generosity, all donations benefit the Sag Harbor Food Pantry.
On New Year’s Day, check in at the beach begins at 1:30 p.m. The countdown to the Plunge begins at 2:30 p.m. You can register and pay with cash or credit card on the day of the event at Wainscott Beach.

2027 Registration Forms and Waivers will be posted on this website on or about November 15.
Register for the plunge with a $35 donation to the Sag Harbor Food Pantry. Each registration includes of a commemorative 2027 Polar Bear Plunge beanie.
Non-plungers: Donate $35 to reserve a beanie for pick up on January 1 at the beach. All donations, in any amount, are tax-deductible.
Hosting a Food Drive
Organizing a food drive is an effective way to unite your team while contributing to our neighbors in need. Whether you’re a small business, a community group, or a large organization, your support will help us stock our shelves and ensure that all our neighbors have adequate food, especially during the winter months when the need is greatest.

HarborFest on the Wharf
Visit our booth at HarborFest and you'll meet the volunteers who make the Pantry a thriving organization. Show your support for the good works of the Pantry by purchasing a raffle ticket, making a donation, or signing up to volunteer your time or expertise.
HarborFest is a two-day event sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce every September on Long Wharf, celebrating Sag Harbor's cultural and artistic history.

The menu changes each week but may include:

Page at 63 Main
Each year, Page at 63 Main holds a cookie decorating event for children, with all proceeds going to the Pantry. Page also sells a stylish Tote Bag, from which a portion of their proceeds benefits the Pantry. We are ever grateful to our generous friends at Page!
Supper Stroll
The First Annual Supper Stroll on October 24, 2026, brought the community together for tastings at local restaurants. Tickets to this fundraiser sold out in under two weeks and the Pantry plans to make this an annual event.
Participants in the Supper Stroll received a Passport Book, which served as admission to any of the eight participating restaurants. Ticket holders were treated to a signature appetizer or tapas-sized dish at each restaurant.
