The photos tell the story of a most wonderful day. And yes, it does take a village!
Santa, volunteers and clients shared fun and friendship at Sag Harbor Food Pantry just days before Christmas 2023.
The fresh baked apple & pumpkin pies were made by students who need Community Service for school. The pie making is organized by Fran Nill who has been doing this for many years. The students helped pick the apples that were donated by The Milk Pail and peeling done by them & several pantry volunteers. The pies are baked at the Fire House by Betsy Remkus.
Toys: The Lions Club collection,
Megan Ciarello of Gloria Jewel in BH'ton
The Sag Harbor Golf Club Lady Golfers.
The pies were baked at the Fire House, under the supervision of Betsy Remkus.
On tables in the social hall were toys for children of all ages.
The toys were gathered by our good friends at Sag Harbor Lions’ Club, and many others were donated by Megan Chiarello of Gloria Jewel, Bridgehampton.
Our thanks to Lions’ Club member Teri Diat, for spearheading this wonderful Toy Drive initiative, and also to Jean and Ted Van Erk for their assistance for organizing and transport of the toys to the pantry for distribution.
